Sentinel musicians also experienced success in the small-ensemble category of the competition with both our rhetoric men's vocal ensemble-comprised of Jackson Darby, Cody Moczygemba, Ethan Moczygemba, Garrett White, Clayton Darby, Sawyer Brumit, Cade Brumit, Liam Arraf, and Jed Bowers-and our logic girls ensemble-comprised of Maddie Arraf, Grace Parker, Kinsey Marshall, Kat Meek, Kate Mitchell, and Katelynn Minor-receiving a first-division/superior rating. ![]() Twenty-two CHCS rhetoric and logic choir and strings students participated in the TAPPS 2023 Vocal-Instrumental Solo & Ensemble Competition on the campus of Tarrant County College in Hurst, Texas, last Saturday, March 25.īringing home first-division/superior honors in the vocal solo category were rhetoric choir students Jed Bowers, Cade Brumit, Clayton Darby, Jackson Darby, Eliana Krug, and Blaire Moore, and logic choir students Kinsey Marshall, Katelynn Minor, Kate Mitchell, and Grace Parker.Įarning first-division/superior honors in the instrumental solo category were rhetoric strings students Eli Roraback and Garrett White and logic strings students Caroline Burkhalter and Joshua Livingston.
